Early Life

Lisa Jane Vanderpump was born on September 15, 1960, in Dulwich, London, as the younger of two children to John Vanderpump and his wife Jean.

She began taking ballet lessons at the age of three and attended Riverston School in Lee Green, South London.

Vanderpump was enrolled in the Corona Academy drama school at nine years old and had a flat in Fulham, West London by the time she was 19.

Career

Vanderpump made her film debut as an uncredited extra in the 1973 romantic comedy A Touch of Class at the age of 13.

She portrayed Julia Allessio, the daughter of Glenda Jackson's character, and had a credited film debut as Anne in the 1978 horror Killer's Moon.

Vanderpump appeared in various television shows throughout her career, including Silk Stalkings and Baywatch Nights.

Reality TV Career

Lisa Vanderpump debuted on Bravo's reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on October 14, 2010, as an original main cast member.

She became a cast member and executive producer on the spin-off show Vanderpump Rules, which launched in 2013.

Vanderpump competed in the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars, partnered with Gleb Savchenko, but was eliminated in tenth place.

Business Ventures

Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd opened SUR Restaurant & Lounge in West Hollywood, California, in 2005.

The couple launched Villa Blanca, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, in August 2009, but it closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vanderpump introduced her first alcoholic beverage, Vanderpump Vodka, in 2013 and later released LVP Sangria, rebranded as Vanderpump Sangria, in February 2014.

Personal Life

Lisa Vanderpump met her husband Ken Todd at his first bar, Cork's Wine Bar in Kensington, London, in May 1982.

The couple wed on August 28, 1982, and have two children together: a daughter and an adopted son.

Vanderpump has one stepson from her husband's previous marriage and two grandsons.

Charity Work

Lisa Vanderpump received the Key to the City of Beverly Hills in March 2013 for her charitable work.

She was honored with a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars in July 2014 and won the Ally Leadership Award from Equality California in August 2015.

Vanderpump organized a peaceful protest march against the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in October 2015 and produced a documentary, The Road To Yulin… And Beyond, to draw attention to the issue.
